FPT Plaza is a group of apartment blocks in FPT City, a new quarter on the southern edge of Da Nang in Ngu Hanh Son, next to FPT University and the FPT offices. It has some of the lowest rents among the complexes foreigners ask about: according to 27 prices from 8 pages, apartments here rent for 6.5-10 million dong a month, about $250-380. Our catalogue has no unit here right now; the agent we work with finds one on request.

What the place is

The developer is Công ty CP Đô thị FPT Đà Nẵng, and the FPT City quarter runs along Vo Chi Cong and Hoang Minh Thang, formerly Hoa Hai ward, now Ngu Hanh Son ward. FPT Plaza 1 has 15 floors and 586 apartments, handed over from April 2022. FPT Plaza 2 has 25 floors and 700 apartments, handed over on 16 June 2023, with a 25 m indoor pool on the second floor. FPT Plaza 3 has 25 floors and 837 apartments of 42 to 124 m² and is managed by CBRE. That is about 2,120 apartments in all. FPT City was built as housing for the technology park, so the residents are mostly FPT staff, students and young Vietnamese families. Few foreigners live here.

The location explains the price. Non Nuoc beach and the Marble Mountains are closer than the centre; My Khe and An Thuong are 20 to 30 minutes away by scooter, and the centre and the airport take longer. You cannot live here without a scooter: public transport is thin, and the nearest large supermarket is too far to walk.

Confidence is good: 27 prices from 8 pages. These are asking prices, not signed ones, and mostly for apartments with basic furniture aimed at local tenants. An apartment fully furnished for a foreign tenant will sit near the top of the range or a little above it.

Newer buildings by the river and the sea in Ngu Hanh Son and Son Tra cost several times more. That gap pays for the district, the finish and the beach on foot. Some people would rather pay less and ride; others pay more and walk. The full table by building is in our rent prices guide.

Who it suits

People who work at FPT or study at the university next door, families on a tight budget, and anyone who cares more about quiet and a new neighbourhood than about cafés and the sea in the window. Not for people who want to live among other foreigners, walk to the beach and stay off the scooter.

Lease terms

From the listings in this complex: one month's deposit, leases from six months, prices in dong. Electricity and water by meter, management fee separate. Contracts are mostly Vietnamese-only. When you rent through us, a foreign tenant gets a bilingual lease.
