Our sample has too few public asking prices for Vicoland to print a range, so we quote per apartment. The complex stands on Bach Dang Dong street in Nai Hien Dong, in the north of Son Tra, facing the Han river on the port side, now in the new Son Tra ward. Our catalogue has no unit here right now; the agent we work with finds one on request.

What the complex is

Vicoland is at the end of Bach Dang Dong street, with a second frontage on Van Don street, formerly Nai Hien Dong ward, now Son Tra ward. The developer is Công ty CP Tập đoàn Xây dựng và Phát triển nhà Vicoland. It is 7-floor low-income housing built under Decision 67/2009/QĐ-TTg and first sold to civil servants at about 5 million dong per m². Residents moved in from 2012. The whole Vicoland Da Nang project has 805 apartments in 8 buildings in both Son Tra and Hai Chau, all handed over before June 2016, with ownership certificates issued in 2016-2018. A typical apartment has two bedrooms and about 52 m². Each block has two lifts, and there is no pool.

Its strength is the riverfront in a quiet part of the east bank. Bach Dang Dong runs along the river; the centre is 10 minutes away across the Thuan Phuoc bridge or the Han River bridge, and My Khe is 10 to 15 minutes by scooter.

Rent

After removing the prices that belong to other property types, the sample has too few asking prices for Vicoland, so we do not print a range. In the same area, Blue House rents at about $190, and Muong Thanh, closer to the beach, at about $300. The full table by building is in our rent prices guide.

Who it suits

Families and working people who want an apartment with a lift on the riverfront and ride a scooter to the centre. Not for anyone who wants a new building with a pool, and not for foreigners who need services in English.

Lease terms

From the listings: one month's deposit, leases from six months, utilities by meter, management fee separate.

How to rent

Put your budget and move-in date into the form. We ask the agent for vacant units and send options within a day or two. Then comes the viewing, the lease, the deposit and the keys. Every step is on the how to rent page.
