An Azura apartment in Da Nang rents for 16-25.9 million dong a month, $610-980, with a median of $760: that is what 20 prices from 5 pages said, a sample big enough to trust. Azura stands on the east bank of the Han river in Son Tra, right at the Dragon Bridge, and was one of the city's first high-end apartment towers. Our catalogue has no Azura apartment right now; the agent we work with finds one on request, usually within a day or two.
What the building is
Azura is a high-rise at 339 Tran Hung Dao facing the river, between the Han River bridge and the Dragon Bridge, formerly An Hai Bac ward, now An Hai. It was built by VinaCapital with the Danish partner Nordica Properties as the first part of the World Trade Center Da Nang scheme, topped out in 2011 and opened on 15 September 2012. It has 225 apartments of one to three bedrooms, about 69-192 m², plus duplexes and two penthouses; official press gave 32 floors, agents say 34. There is a 25 m outdoor pool with a children's area, a gym, a playground, a mini mart, a staffed front desk, 24-hour security and car and scooter parking. People still search for it because of where it stands: the riverside promenade at the door, five minutes by scooter across the bridge to the centre, ten to My Khe beach.
What nobody writes in the listings: in an older tower the furniture and appliances vary wildly from one apartment to the next, depending on whether the owner has renovated. Same size, same floor, same view, a $200-270 gap between two units is normal here. See the actual apartment before comparing prices.

Confidence is good: 20 prices from 5 pages. These are asking prices, not signed ones; a twelve-month lease usually lands below the listing. A median of $760 puts Azura in the middle of the east-bank market: above The Monarchy at about $800, below The Panoma at about $840 and The Filmore across the river at about $1,060. This page is about long-term rent. If you are looking at Azura to buy, the rules for foreigners and how we find a property for sale are on the page property for sale in Da Nang.
What is nearby
- The Han river and the Dragon Bridge under the window; on weekend nights the bridge breathes fire, and high river-facing floors get the whole show.
- The centre, Hai Chau: across the Dragon Bridge, five minutes by scooter, with Han market and the Bach Dang promenade on the far side.
- My Khe beach: straight down Vo Van Kiet, about ten minutes by scooter.
- Markets, small supermarkets and local restaurants around Tran Hung Dao and Ngo Quyen; An Thuong with its Western cafés is fifteen minutes away.
Lease terms in this building
From the listings: one month's deposit, leases from six months, with some owners accepting three at a higher rate. Electricity by meter or at a rate the owner sets, so ask before signing. The management fee is sometimes inside the rent and sometimes separate. Leases through us are bilingual and include the temporary residence registration.
Foreign tenants have lived in Azura for years, so owners are used to English contracts and bank transfers. That makes negotiating easier than in a building that only ever had local tenants.
