What the compound is

The address is Truong Sa road, formerly Hoa Hai ward, now Ngu Hanh Son ward, between Da Nang and Hoi An, beside The Dunes golf course. The Ocean Villas was the first phase of the 260-hectare Danang Beach Resort developed by VinaCapital and VinaLiving and opened in 2009: 114 villas of two to five bedrooms on 21 hectares. The 116 apartments belong to The Ocean Suites, a separate part of the resort. Ocean Estates next door is a separate compound of 33 villas, built from 2016. There are two shared pools, private pools at the villas, a playground, a beach club, a spa, a restaurant and tennis courts, and residents can use the golf course. Most villas have a private pool and a garden and three to five bedrooms. Many are let short-term through the compound's management company, so the supply for long leases is limited. We have not confirmed the management fee.

The distance has to be said plainly: central Hai Chau is 25 to 35 minutes away by car, An Thuong 15 to 20 minutes, Hoi An 20 minutes along the coast road. Without a car you cannot live here.

In the middle of the city there is Euro Village by the Dragon Bridge, with smaller plots and no golf course.

Who it suits

The compound's management fee and pool cleaning are separate and not small, so ask before you sign.
