Han river view apartments in Da Nang: both banks, prices and how to check the view

The Han river is Da Nang's main street, and an apartment overlooking it means the bridges lit up every evening and the Dragon breathing fire at weekends. Two banks

The east bank, Son Tra and the northern edge of Ngu Hanh Son: new towers at the Dragon and Tran Thi Ly bridges, a view of the river and the centre beyond it, ten minutes to the beach. The Panoma, Sun Ponte, The Monarchy and Azura are here. The west bank, Hai Chau: the centre, the Bach Dang promenade, a view of the river and the east-bank towers, the beach across a bridge. The Filmore, Indochina Riverside and Blooming Tower are here. The east bank costs more for the beach nearby; the west gives more square metres for the same money and the evening promenade under the window.

What you pay for

Our river-view one-bedrooms in The Panoma run from $654 to $1,077, sea-view ones from $846 to $1,077. Inside one building the difference comes from the floor, the side and the finish; the layout is the same. If the view does not matter, take the other side of the same building and spend the difference on anything else.

How to check the view

A "river view" in a listing can be a strip of water between two towers. At the viewing: stand at the window in every room, look at what is being built between the building and the river, ask the concierge about construction.
